Miniatures
Miniature painting goes back to the Mughal courts, and it’s still one of the most demanding traditions to work in: fine detail, natural pigments, patterns compressed into a small frame that somehow don’t feel cramped. Our miniaturists work in that same lineage, carrying forward classical art of Pakistan in a form few galleries take seriously anymore. These pieces tend to appeal to people who care as much about the craft behind a painting as the image itself. If you already know what miniature work involves, you don’t need convincing. If you don’t, it’s worth reading up before you buy. The process is half the reason these paintings cost what they do.
