Artist Statement
The way an image is nothing without a point at first, this is the reason an image is created through a point. Point is one of the visual design elements which help us create an image from one point to another. Keeping this is mind, I painted It disheartens for us to see that we are going far from our traditions and rituals, Just like we used perfumes now a days in old days Mughal used rose as Fragrance and in presenting a gifts to their loving wives, so I realized that Fragrance (Perfume) has take place of Rose.

Biography
Sumaira Ali, Born in Hyderabad, Sindh is a visual artist, she has worked as a Miniature Painter at Fakhta School of Art’s in Karachi. She received her bachelors in Fine Arts from University of Sindh in 2009. She is affiliated with INDUS VALLEY SCHOOL OF ART & ARCHITECTRE (CEP) and teaches Interior Design diploma classes and workshop classes. While teaching she has participated in many exhibitions shows. In 2003 she received “The Best Painting Award” and also received an award by Nazrat College in 2002. Currently, she is doing her Masters in Visual Arts from National College of Arts .
