For me, art is an endless practice of observation, driven by a daily commitment to drawing and exploration. My current body of work, executed in acrylic on paper, is a visual tribute to the soulful and resilient life of the Tharparkar desert.” “I am deeply fascinated by the vibrant contrast between Tharparkar’s harsh landscape and the rich, colorful cultural life of its people. Through fluid textures and detailed drafts, I attempt to capture the quiet dignity, daily rhythms, and unspoken stories of Thar. As a student of fine arts, every sketch and brushstroke is part of my ongoing practice—a dedicated effort to refine my skills, understand form, and translate the essence of human survival and beauty onto paper.

Biography
Rameez (b. Hyderabad, Sindh) is an emerging visual artist and an ambitious fine arts student currently preparing for his formal artistic journey at the prestigious National College of Arts (NCA). Raised in an environment deeply rooted in art and creative expression, his passion for drawing and visual storytelling developed at an early age. As a young student currently exploring the vast world of fine arts, Rameez’s work focuses on the fundamentals of drafting, anatomy, and conceptual sketches. His artistic style reflects a keen sense of observation, blending traditional techniques with a fresh, contemporary perspective. Guided by the rich cultural heritage of Sindh and his personal experiences, he views art as a continuous journey of learning, experimentation, and self-discovery. With a strong dedication to refining his craft and mastering new mediums, Rameez is committed to establishing his unique voice in the contemporary art world.
