My artistic practice is rooted in the beauty of nature, the strength of feminine presence, and the richness of cultural traditions. Working across figurative and landscape painting, I create compositions where women, birds, trees, and natural elements become symbols of peace, freedom, resilience, and harmony.
I draw inspiration from everyday life, rural landscapes, and traditional South Asian aesthetics, transforming familiar subjects into expressive visual narratives. Biography
Muhammad Rashid Gaffar (RG) is a contemporary visual artist based in Lahore, Pakistan, with over 20 years of artistic practice. Trained through both formal art education and self-directed learning, he has developed a distinctive artistic style that blends figurative, landscape, and symbolic art.
Working primarily in oil and acrylic, RG draws inspiration from nature, cultural heritage, and human emotions. His paintings often feature women, birds, and landscapes, expressing themes of harmony, resilience, freedom, and the beauty of everyday life. His work combines traditional influences with a contemporary visual language through expressive colour and thoughtful composition.
